The Rivne Medical Academy is deeply saddened by the loss of our graduate, Volodymyr Mykhailovych Zhurskyi, a resident of the village of Stanyn, who died on May 20, 2025 while performing a combat mission in the Sumy region.

Volodymyr is a graduate of our academic community. In 2013, he graduated from the Rivne Basic Medical College, department “Dentistry”, specialty "Preventive Dentistry". He devoted himself to helping people precisely as a doctor.

A man who chose the path of service, responsibility and devotion. He did not just wear a uniform - he fought for life, for freedom, for each of us.

It is impossible to find words that could reduce the pain of this loss. We bow our heads in grief, thank you for your heroism, and express our sincere condolences to Volodymyr's family, friends and brothers.

His memory will forever remain in the hearts of our academic family.
