Integrated practical lesson in the disciplines of Marketing in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Care
Dear colleagues! Today there was an integrated practical lesson on Marketing in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical care under the leadership of the Head of the Department of Chemical-Pharmaceutical Disciplines, candidate of pharmaceutical sciences Oksana Shtrimaitis with the students-pharmacists of the graduation year. The differences between branded (original, innovative) and generic drugs were discussed. Special attention was paid to the marketing concept "brand". The students were divided into teams and competed among themselves, naming well-known brands present on the market of drug manufacturers. Of course, friendship won and we all believe in the quick victory of Ukraine. In the meantime, each of us has the opportunity to fight the enemy professionally. Therefore, a separate fragment of the lesson was the acquaintance of the students with research work, the results of which are implemented in the educational process of the department of chemical and pharmaceutical disciplines. In particular, the developed scheme with the image of the world manufacturers of drugs that did not leave the market of the aggressor country was considered and we made a decision to recommend to patients drugs of domestic manufacturers that meet world quality standards. Unfortunately, today many global drug manufacturers not only have not left the market of the aggressor country, but also have production facilities on the territory of Russia. Therefore, we urge everyone involved in the choice of the direction of pharmacotherapy to take this into account and, if possible, give preference to domestic manufacturers. Everything will be Ukraine!
