How not to lose money, not to fall for scammers, or even enemy recruiters, using social networks? Answers to important and relevant questions on cybersecurity were provided to students of our Academy by professionals.

Lecturers Valentyna Lukashchuk and Mykola Lukashchuk organized a meeting-lecture for the students of the “Pharmacy” and “General Medicine”. The officer of the Cybercrime Countermeasures Department in the Rivne region of the Cyberpolice Department of the National Police of Ukraine, Police Lieutenant Viktoriia Sorokina, in a simple and understandable form, told students how to protect themselves from online fraud and information threats.

They talked about fake pages, "easy money", suspicious links and pseudo-services. They discussed how not to become a victim of cyberbullying and why it is important to protect your personal data. And also what to do if you are pressured, blackmailed or forced to do something illegal and how to protect yourself in such a case.

We focused separately on responsibility for cybercrimes, which is quite real, not virtual.

Let's be careful online - one click matters.
