Historical platform "He who does not know his past is not worthy of his future"
On February 2, 2024, the teacher of the cyclic committee of psychological, pedagogical and socio-economic disciplines, candidate of historical sciences N. M. Melnychuk, PhD, and a 1st-year student of the "Orthopedic Dentistry" department, in the presence of the deputy director for educational work, Ph.D. Bukhalska S. Ye, in the online format held a historical platform for the students of the 1st year of the department “Nursing” A (9) dedicated to 80th anniversary of the liberation of city Rivne from the fascist invaders.
For more than 900 days, from 1941 to 1944, the city Rivne was under the occupation of Nazi Germany. On February 2, 1944, the troops of the Soviet Army liberated the city from the fascist invaders. Since then, we celebrate this date as Rivne Liberation Day.
The historical platform was divided into 2 stages:
The 1st stage was called "The past is with us" - where the interwar period was considered;
The 2nd stage – direct capture and liberation of our city from the fascist invaders;
The closing speech was delivered by the deputy director of educational work, Ph.D. S. Ye Bukhalska, who noted that we should remember our past, because, as the outstanding poet M. T. Rylskyi wrote: "He who does not know his past is not worthy of his future."
