International Day of the Right to KNOW
The International Day of the Right to KNOW was launched on September 28, 2012 in Sofia (Bulgaria) at a meeting of public and international organizations operating in the field of freedom of information.
On September 27, 2023 at the Professional Medical College dedicated to the Day of legal knowledge among the students of the department of “Medical business” I B (9), “Pharmacy” I B (9), “Pharmacy-masters” I (11), the teacher S.Yu Lukashchuk on the basis of the created information and legal platform conveyed to the students the importance of access to public information. The invited guest Tetiana Volodymyrivna Blashchuk, Doctor of Law, associate professor of NU "Ostroh Academy", senior partner of JSA "PROXI", lawyer, delivered a lecture "Legal status of a patient, a medical worker of a health care institution". The students got acquainted with new aspects of Medical Law, with the rights and obligations of both patients and medical professionals. A lively discussion took place.
Svitlana Yevhenivna Bukhalska, PhD, deputy director on educational work, was invited to speak. Her speech on the topic "Rights and responsibilities of education seekers" did not leave the indifferent. Among those present at the event were the head of the cyclic committee of psychological-pedagogical and socio-economic disciplines Patiaka O.O., social teacher Melnychuk N.M.
