The meeting was held in building 4 of the Academy. It was conducted by Liudmyla Aponchuk, a lecturer in the discipline "Obstetrics and Gynecology". The event was dedicated to the World Day against Drug Abuse.

During the meeting, the students discussed the problem of drug addiction and the spread of narcotic substances, as well as examined the main types of drugs and their effects on the human body. Particular attention was paid to how psychoactive substances affect the growth and development of the body, the functioning of internal systems, and mental health.

An important part of the conversation was the topic of reproductive health. The participants of the event learned about the consequences of drug use for future motherhood, the course of pregnancy, and the development of the child. Such knowledge is especially important for students of a medical institution, because in the future they will work with patients and must be able to explain health risks.
