On May 28, 2026, the Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Disciplines hosted a guest lecture on the topic "Pharmacognosy as a Science and an Educational Discipline" with the participation of Marchyshyn Svitlana Mykhailivna - Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Pharmacognosy with Medical Botany of the Ternopil National Medical University named after I.Ya. Horbachevskyi.

During the meeting, the participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in the field of pharmacognosy, medicinal plants and modern aspects of pharmaceutical science. The lecture was informative, interesting and inspiring, and Paracelsus' wise words about the power of the dose and the nature of medicines once again reminded us: pharmacy is a science that requires deep knowledge, responsibility and thinking.
