The Rivne Medical Academy's #Medical_School project continues in 2026! This is an open dialogue with schoolchildren on topics that really matter.

This time, the Academy's teacher Olena Hashynska gave a lecture to 11th grade pupils of Rivne Lyceum 7. They talked about the negative impact of vapes and electronic cigarettes on the body of teenagers.

During the meeting, they discussed what vaping liquids consist of, how nicotine affects the organs and systems of the human body, why electronic devices are not a "safer alternative" to regular cigarettes. Special attention was paid to popular myths that form a misconception about the safety of vaping.

They also analyzed the reasons why teenagers start smoking and the real health consequences. The pupils received simple and practical advice on how to confidently refuse an offer to try a cigarette and how to resist peer pressure.
