WE CONTINUE WORKING WITHIN THE PROJECT “HOW ARE YOU?”
The Rivne Medical Academy team joined the Day of Collaboration “Universities + Services “How are you?”: from theory to practice”, which was held with the support of the Rivne Regional Military Administration. The event brought together representatives of the regional authorities, specialized departments, educational institutions and institutions working in the field of mental health and psychosocial support.
The Rivne Medical Academy was represented by active students, Rector Roman Shustyk, Vice-Rector for Research Oksana Shtrimaitis, Dean of the Faculty Larysa Korobko and Social Educator of the Professional Medical College Nadiia Melnychuk.
The participants of the event got acquainted with the work of key services of the region. In particular, they visited the MI “Rivne Regional Center for Complex Rehabilitation”, where they discussed modern approaches to rehabilitation and psychosocial support of different categories of the population. We also visited the Rivne Regional Clinical Hospital named after Yurii Semeniuk, where we presented the possibilities of providing specialized medical care and multidisciplinary interaction of specialists.
A separate point of the program was an acquaintance with the work of the MI "Horodok Inclusive Resource Center" of the Horodok Village Council, which provides support for children with special educational needs and their families.
For the Rivne Medical Academy, participation in the Day of Collaboration is not only a professional dialogue, but also an opportunity to strengthen partnerships, expand the base of practical training for students and integrate the best regional practices into the educational process.
We are convinced that high-quality training of medical specialists is impossible without close cooperation with institutions that work daily to preserve the physical and mental health of the community.
