The All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Surgical Readings Dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of Yevhen Borovyi" was held, organized by the Rivne Regional Clinical Hospital named after Yurii Semeniuk together with the Rivne Medical Academy.

This event was special not only in scale, but also in its depth and symbolism - it is a tribute to the outstanding surgeon, scientist and mentor, who devoted more than 50 years to the development of surgery and the training of medical personnel in the Rivne region.

The conference became a platform for bringing together specialists from different parts of Ukraine - Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Zaporizhia and other cities.

The participants shared best practices, discussed the challenges of modern surgery and together created new guidelines for the development of the industry. An important moment was the realization of the significance of Yevhen Borovyi's legacy as an unbreakable example of service to medicine and people.

A poignant highlight of the conference was the presence of Olesia Borova-Halai, daughter of Yevhen Maksymovych, as well as Liudmyla Marchuk, author of the book "The Call to Fight for Life. Yevhen Borovyi: surgeon, teacher, person", which deeply conveys the greatness of the personality of the great doctor.
