STUDENTS-LABORATORY ASSISTANTS MASTER PRACTICAL SKILLS
Practice is the moment when knowledge from textbooks comes to life. The 3rd year students of the Rivne Medical Academy, specialty "Laboratory Diagnostics", took another important step towards their profession. Behind microscopes, analyzers, among test tubes and reagents, they learned the main thing - responsibility for each result, attention to detail and respect for work, on which human life often depends.
These were days of concentration, excitement and small professional victories. It was here that they mastered blood collection techniques and performed bacteriological inoculation of smear samples onto nutrient media. They also analyzed blood samples using a hematology analyzer to determine key parameters. In addition, they measured protein levels by adding specific reagents and conducted urine glucose testing. And that’s not everything …
There are still many challenges ahead, but this experience has already become a solid foundation for the future profession of our laboratory assistants.
