On October 21, 2021, students of the first (bachelor's) level of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Faculty of Rivne Medical Academy visited the Laboratory of Quality Control of Medicines and Medical Products of the State Service of Medicines and Drug Control in Rivne region.

It became important for students to get acquainted with the peculiarities of work in the laboratory, with the requirements for laboratory research, research methods and devices that are used.

The acting head of the laboratory Kovalchuk T.V. with the help of the most modern laboratory equipment enabled students to see in action a UV spectrophotometer, a refractometer, a liquid chromatograph, a device for disintegration and dissolution of tablets, a spectrometer and other equipment from a laboratory.

In addition, during the excursion the students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the exhibition of counterfeit medicines and medicines that do not meet the requirements of analytical and regulatory documentation on certain indicators of the quality of medicines.

According to the students, the tour was interesting and informative for them regarding the level of organization of state quality control of medicines in Rivne region.
