The students of higher medical education of the specialties: 223 Nursing first (bachelor) level, 224 Technologies of medical diagnosis and treatment first (bachelor) level, 227 Physical therapy, occupational therapy first (bachelor) level, 226 Pharmacy, industrial pharmacy second ( master's) level here visited Rivne Regional Clinical Treatment and Diagnostic Center named after V. Polishchuk" as a result of the study of the discipline "Medical biology and fundamentals of genetics" (teacher, Ph.D., professor of the department of fundamental disciplines, Svitlana Bukhalska).

Future specialists in the medical field got a first-hand look at the work of the regional newborn registry center; the functional activity of the medical and genetic center, genetic research laboratory; possible mutations of the hereditary apparatus were observed by means of microscopy; analyzed the statistical indicators of the manifestation of hereditary pathology.

The visits to the regional center of reproductive medicine was interesting and informative, during which the center's specialists told the students in detail about modern methods of treating infertility, in particular with the use of assisted reproductive technologies - in vitro fertilization (IVF).

It is worth noting that this form of training is highly efficient, effective, professionally and preventively oriented.
