Students-pharmacists of the Rivne Medical Academy joined an information event as part of the project "Raising awareness of the risks of human trafficking and exploitation among vulnerable population of the Rivne region".

The training was conducted by the team of the PO "Center "Chaika" in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration, representative office in Ukraine. The students were told how to recognize the risks of human trafficking, avoid dangerous situations during employment or travel, and where to ask for help.

The event was held in a live interactive format: students discussed real stories, analyzed myths and facts about human trafficking, participated in exercises, and even practically got acquainted with the work of the national hotline 527, where you can contact in case of danger.

They also talked about how to work and travel safely, and got acquainted with the online simulator "Something went wrong", which helps to learn to recognize risky situations.

Because a modern student is not only about professional knowledge. It is also about awareness, critical thinking, and the ability to take care of their own safety.
