The Academic Council of the MIHE "Rivne Medical Academy" discussed current issues of the development of the educational process and student science.

On February 27, 2026, the MIHE "Rivne Medical Academy" held a regular meeting of the Academic Council in a remote format, during which a number of important issues related to the improvement of the educational process, the development of scientific activities of students and the formation of a positive image of the Academy were considered.

One of the key issues on the agenda was ensuring the implementation of the individual educational trajectory of students (speakers Larysa KOROBKO, Dmytro LYSYTSIA, Inessa KHMELIAR). During the discussion, it was emphad that the possibility of forming an individual curriculum, the choice of educational components and the flexibility of the educational process contribute to improving the quality of training of specialists, the development of professional competencies and taking into account the educational and professional interests of students. The members of the Academic Council paid considerable attention to the issue of increasing the level of motivation of students for scientific and research activities (speakers Oksana SHTRIMAITIS, Ruslana KONOSHCHUK). The importance of active involvement of students in the scientific work, participation in student scientific conferences, scientific paper competitions, scientific and practical events was noted, which contributes to the formation of research competencies and the development of academic culture. Vitalii UNDIR (Chairman of the Academic Council) and Roman SHUSTYK (Rector of the Academy) noted the high level of the educational educational and methodological forum “The expert of the 21st century: research and educational innovations in the conditions of martial law in Ukraine” and the VII All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation “Modern Prospects for the Development of Dentistry through the Prism of Scientific Research of Young Scientists”

The directions of forming a positive image of the Academy were separately discussed (speakers Vitalii UNDIR, Roman SHUSTYK). The participants of the meeting emphad the importance of popularizing the achievements of students and teachers, developing educational and scientific initiatives, expanding cooperation with the professional community and active participation in scientific, educational and public events. The meeting approved the official logo of the Rivne Medical Academy as an element of a unified corporate style in order to increase the recognition of the institution in the educational, medical and public environment.

Following the discussion, the Academic Council adopted relevant decisions aimed at further developing educational and scientific activities, increasing students' motivation for research work, and strengthening the authority of the Rivne Medical Academy in the educational space of Ukraine.
