Teachers of the Rivne Medical Academy are among the speakers of the international project
On April 2-4, teachers of the Rivne Medical Academy Olena Horska and Nataliia Povar were speakers during the educational intensive for first aid teams from the Ukrainian-Swiss project "Development of Medical Education".
It was a real intensive - three days of profound work, exchange of experience and practical sessions for primary health care teams from different parts of Ukraine. The focus was on the expanded role of nurses: independent patient admission, team interaction, palliative care, motivational counseling and basic life support (BLS).
Our teachers held a plenary session "Humaneness and empathy in healthcare. Why is it important? Can it be taught", where they discussed the importance of these qualities in medicine and practically worked out cases on the use of the EVE algorithm. Nataliia Povar also participated in the discussion “Beyond the Pattern: New Roles of Nurses,” where they discussed how the role of a modern nurse is changing.
We are proud of our colleagues
