MEETING OF THE ACADEMIC COUNCIL OF THE RIVNE MEDICAL ACADEMY
On January 28, 2026, a regular meeting of the Academic Council of the Rivne Medical Academy was held under the chairmanship of Vitalii UNDIR. During the meeting, a wide range of issues covering the development of the educational, scientific and personnel policy of the Academy was considered. In particular, the rector of the Rivne Medical Academy Roman SHUSTYK, in his report “On the prospects of the Academy’s development in the context of launching new and implementing existing educational programs,” focused on the main areas of development of the Academy as a medical institution of higher education in the context of launching new and implementing existing educational programs, taking into account the licensing conditions and requirements of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education. Andrii Petrovych emphad the importance of involving employers, education seekers and graduates into the development, monitoring and improvement of educational programs, as well as the coordination of program learning outcomes with higher education standards and the National Qualifications Framework. Special attention was paid to the issues of ensuring the quality of educational activity. According to the meeting plan, speeches by Larysa KOROBKO (Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy), Inessa KHMELIAR (Head of the Educational and Methodological Department), Volodymyr BABIAK (Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs), Dmytro LYSYTSIA (Director of the Professional College) were listened to. The speeches were about ways to improve the quality of the educational process as one of the key priorities for the development of the Academy. Special attention at the meeting was paid to the issue “On the state of ensuring the quality of specialists’ training and the development of scientific activity at the departments. “The effectiveness of rating assessment of professional activities of scientific and pedagogical workers" (speaker Oksana SHTRIMAITIS, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work, co-speaker Ruslana KONOSHCHUK, First Vice-Rector). Oksana Viktorivna analyzed the scientific activities of the departments, drew attention to the use of the rating in accreditation procedures: proof of systematic staffing of educational programs; analytical basis of the self-assessment report; confirmation of the involvement and professional development of scientific and pedagogical workers. Ruslana Vasylivna noted the improvement of scientific activity, the increase in the level of professional activity of teachers in scientific, methodological and research activities. Vitalii UNDIR, Chairman of the Academic Council, in his speech focused on the further development of international cooperation and scientific activity, in particular by expanding the network of foreign partners, searching for additional sources of funding for mobility programs and implementing the results of international projects in the educational and scientific process. During the meetings, the results of the Academy's monitoring of electronic training courses placed in the digital educational environment were considered. The speakers paid special attention to the structural completeness of the courses, the relevance of educational and methodological materials, the availability of work programs, lecture and practical materials, tasks for independent work, means of current and final control, as well as the compliance of the courses with the programs of educational disciplines. The Rector of the Academy noted the responsible and professional work of the heads of structural units in carrying out the analysis of monitoring studies of the quality of the educational process. Appropriate decisions were made on each issue.
