On May 18, 2026, a meeting of the Academic Council of the Rivne Medical Academy was held in a remote format. During the meeting, a number of topical organizational and educational issues were considered in accordance with the approved agenda. Members of the Academic Council discussed amendments to the Regulations on the procedure for expulsion, interruption of studies and transfer of persons studying at the Academy, as well as the issue of tuition payment for students of the College and the Medical and Pharmaceutical Faculty enrolled on a contract basis from the 2026/2027 academic year. Special attention was paid to the approval of the report and abstracts for the Collection of Materials of the VI All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation “Current Issues of the Clinic, Diagnostics, Treatment and Rehabilitation at Different Levels of Medical Care Provision”. The participants emphad the importance of developing scientific activity, interdisciplinary cooperation, and the introduction of modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, into medical education and practice. The meeting also discussed issues of improving career guidance work, expanding communication with future entrants, and the possibility of increasing the number of education seekers by developing innovative educational programs and strengthening the practical component of training.
