On May 20, 2026, as part of the month of natural and mathematical disciplines, teachers had an educational excursion to the Museum of Hop Growing and Brewing of Historical Volyn in Rivne. The event was an excellent opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical acquaintance with the development of the food industry, production technologies and economic history of the region.

During the excursion, participants learned about the history of brewing in Volyn, the development of local breweries and the formation of the brewing industry as an important component of the regional economy. Special attention was paid to the history of the Rivne Brewery, which in the 20th century became one of the largest enterprises in Volyn. The museum's exposition presented unique historical exhibits: old bottles, mugs, wooden barrels, laboratory equipment, archival documents and photographs. The teachers got acquainted with the stages of development of beer production technologies - from traditional methods to modern automated processes.

The information about hop cultivation was of particular interest, its role in beer production and the importance of hop growing for the agricultural sector and the economy of the region. The excursion provided an opportunity to better understand the relationship between natural sciences, technologies, entrepreneurship and economic development of society.

The visit to the museum was a meaningful and informative event that contributed to the expansion of the professional horizons of teachers and the popularization of natural and mathematical disciplines through the study of the history of science, technology and production.
