On February 25, a guest lecture by representatives of the pharmacy chain "We Wish You Health" was held for students of the specialty 226 Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy. The event was aimed at developing the professional competencies of future pharmacist assistants, in particular, communication skills, customer orientation and psychological stability in professional activities.

During the lecture, students were introduced in detail to the 4-sector behavioral model DISC, which is used to study people's behavior in various life situations and professional environments.

Special attention was paid to the adaptation of this model to the work of a pharmacist assistant at a pharmacy.

The main types of customer behavior (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, Compliance), psychological characteristics of each type, effective ways of communicating with different categories of pharmacy visitors, practical recommendations for building trust and reducing conflict situations were considered.

A separate block was devoted to the theory of generations, where the key characteristics of different age groups, their values, expectations and communication style were considered. This allowed future specialists to better understand the needs of visitors of different ages, in particular:

• features of interaction with representatives of the older generation;

• approaches to communication with young people and active users of digital technologies.

The final part of the meeting was devoted to the topic of recovery after a working day and prevention of professional burnout. Representatives of the pharmacy chain "We Wish You Health" shared practical recommendations on:

• maintaining emotional stability;

• managing stress in working with customers;

• techniques for rapid recovery;

• maintaining a balance between professional activities and personal life.

The guest lecture was an important step in the formation of a modern specialist in the pharmaceutical industry, able to communicate effectively, work with different types of visitors and maintain their own psychological well-being.

The administration of the institution expresses sincere gratitude to the representatives of the pharmacy chain "We Wish You Health" for their cooperation, openness and contribution to the training of future pharmacist assistants.
