In modern conditions of educational development, increasing the professional competence of teachers is of particular importance. It was this topical theme that was the round table "Psychological and pedagogical conditions for the growth of a teacher's professional competence" devoted to, which brought together scientists, teachers and practitioners and took place on March 20, 2026 at the Rivne Medical Academy.

The participants of the event discussed key aspects of a teacher's professional development, in particular the role of motivation for self-improvement, the importance of emotional intelligence, pedagogical reflection and continuous learning. Particular attention was paid to the creation of a favorable educational environment that stimulates creativity, innovation and professional growth.

During the discussion, it was emphad that important conditions for the development of competence are the support of the team, the introduction of modern educational technologies and the orientation towards student-centered learning. The participants also shared practical experience in using interactive teaching methods and psychological support for teachers in their professional activities. During the educational and methodological event, the effectiveness of the methodological month on the topic “Innovative educational space as a means of forming soft skills in participants in the educational process” was discussed. The participants noted that the events were aimed at improving pedagogical skills, exchanging experience and introducing modern educational technologies. It is especially worth noting the high activity of teachers of clinical and pharmaceutical disciplines, who demonstrated a creative approach to organizing training, effective use of interactive methods and a desire for constant self-improvement. The conducted methodological month became an important stage in improving the educational process, contributed to increasing the professional competence of teachers and establishing modern approaches to preparing a successful graduate.

The results of the round table determined the main areas of further work, including the development of a system of advanced training, the introduction of innovative approaches to teaching and strengthening interdisciplinary cooperation.
