In a changing and closely interconnected world, everyone needs a wide range of skills and competencies that they must constantly develop throughout their lives. Modern society is characterized by accelerated progress. Information and digital technologies cause natural changes in human life and apply to all spheres of activity, including education, which at the same time becomes the basis and prerequisite for the development of society. That is why an important task of education in the XXI century is the formation of new professional competencies of students associated with the rapid development of society. In this regard, another important component was added to the list of professionally significant qualities of a young person - information and digital competence, which prompted the regional methodological meeting of teachers of Computer Science on the topic "Information and digital competence as part of the modern educational process ", which took place on the basis of Rivne Medical Academy on October 20, 2021. More than 60 pedagogical, scientific and pedagogical workers of Rivne and Ternopil took part in the online event to learn from the experience of creative teachers of Rivne Medical Academy and Professional Medical College.
