ABOUT THE POWER OF THE WORD AND THE SKILL OF TRANSLATION
An open lesson in the format of a story-excursion on the topic “The translation heritage of Mykola Lukash in the context of the development of Ukrainian artistic translation of world classics” was held at the Rivne Medical Academy.
The event was conducted by Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Nataliia Perekhodko.
During the lesson, students got acquainted with the figure of Mykola Lukash, an outstanding Ukrainian translator who enriched Ukrainian literature with translations of works of world classics. The focus was not only on his biography, but also on the peculiarities of his translation style, linguistic skill and the significance of his work for the development of Ukrainian culture.
After all, even in a medical educational institution it is important to form a comprehensively developed personality, able to appreciate culture and intellectual tradition.
