Today, on May 5, the first-year students of the specialties “Physical Rehabilitation” and “General Medicine” took an important step toward immersing themselves in their future profession. As part of the course “Anatomy and Physiology,” future healthcare professionals visited the Pathology Department of the Municipal Central City Hospital of the Rivne City Council.

The excursion and practical session were conducted by Sofiia Dundiuk-Berezina, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Fundamental Disciplines and Doctor of Philosophy.

During the visit, students became familiar with the internal work and structure of the department. They also learned about the importance of pathomorphological research in establishing accurate diagnoses. In addition, they had the opportunity to observe histological specimens with their own eyes while studying tissue structure at the microscopic level.

Such classes help students better understand complex processes in the human body and realize the responsibility of their chosen profession.
